The ODT Flipper is the original dog tag knife. It was first developed by Curtiss Knives in 2011, and after 6 years of constant innovation and evolution, the final developed form is what you see here.
Dog tags are used by soldiers as a form of battlefield identification - it contains their essential information and it’s worn at all times. It is from this concept that the ODT Flipper was born. The idea is to have a knife that is compact and so well-designed that it integrates seamlessly into your lifestyle. The ODT Flipper features a razor-sharp CTS-XHP blade. It also comes with the remarkable S.P.O.T. pivot system with the blade running on caged bearings, shouldered standoffs and stop pin. The titanium frame has a 3 groove ball end mill feature and is blasted and dark stonewashed.
It fits perfectly in the watch pocket of your jeans. When closed, the knife is exactly the dimensions of a regulation dog tag. It’s truly a knife that you will not notice until the need arises. And that is the true hallmark of an integrated tool.
