A rising star in the custom knife world, Maverick Custom Knives is helmed by James Robert Buckley. This gorgeous Front Flipper is the original, handmade version of the soon-to-be-released Kizer production model. 

As a self-professed steel snob, James only selects the best and most high-end tool steels to work with, as evident with the Front Flipper which features a CPM 10-V blade. Made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, CPM 10-V has added high carbon and vanadium for exceptionally good wear resistance, toughness, and strength. 

Adhering to time-honored traditions, James prefers the old-school method of cutting out blanks, sanding them flat, and then fitting them all together. A picture of perfection, the Maverick Customs Front Flipper comes complete with solid patterned titanium scales, a matching deep-carry titanium pocket clip, and custom anodized hardware.
