Here's a very special, discontinued, limited edition variant of the bestselling pocket top from Prometheus – the one-of-a-kind Lambda Top made from Tungsten. This is numbered 1 of only 15 made, making it increasingly rare. 

Let's take a moment to put things into perspective. As a material, Tungsten is 30x more expensive than brass and outrageously dense and heavy. It has almost the same density as gold at 19.3 g/cm3 (with brass at 8.5, copper at 8.96 and lead at 11). Any denser and you'd have to look at making a top from Iridium, Neptunium, Osmium, Platinum, or Plutonium.

This out-of-this-world density translates to equally out-of-this-world spin times. Depending on your technique and strength, you'll be able to harness the power of physics and take full advantage of this Tungsten behemoth of a spinner. 

The contact point is specially made from Silicon Carbide (SiC) which is often used in extreme bearing applications. SiC is heat tolerant up to a staggering 1800*C. It's commonly used in the manufacture of ceramic brake discs, ballistic plates in bulletproof vests, and LEDs. It's the perfect complement to the extremely heavy tungsten top because it is the most durable material available for this application.

The SiC contact point and one-piece Tungsten body design combined with the trademark precision spherical contact point and spindle, you’ll be hard pressed to find anything in this size and weight class that compares to the Prometheus Lambda Top when it comes to sheer performance and stability.
