Forgoing trends and focusing on the time-tested philosophy of doing more with less, the custom Atlas CFL features a compact and streamlined design. The versatile drop point blade or sheepsfoot blade is made from M390, which is a super-steel created by Bohler in Austria and takes a superbly sharp edge and holds on to it due to its high concentration of vanadium and chromium carbides.
The ball bearings allow for silky-smooth action, and the blade is easily deployed single-handed using the front-flipper tab, while the 3D machined titanium handles feature stunning mammoth ivory inlays that come from the Wooly Mammoth (yes, those from the Ice Age). No two are ever alike – with a beautifully warm sheen, one-of-a-kind grain patterns, and amazing color and character.
A beauty and a beast, the Trevor Burger Atlas CFL also features a titanium backspacer for maximum strength and rigidity while keeping things lightweight. Finally, Trevor's maker mark (TBC) is engraved into the lockside of the handle as a stamp of his unerring craftsmanship.
