Background:
Abner hails from the Philippines, and he has just started a private practice as an anesthesiologist. He began getting into EDC when he was in medical school, and has recently started upgrading his EDC when he found out that there are much better gear available out there.
Before getting into the world of EDC, Abner's first hobby was photography. And now as a successful working professional, he is thrilled to be able to combine both his passions of photography and collecting high-quality EDC gear.
As an anesthesiologist, Abner has to be alert at all times to accurately observe, analyze and intervene when necessary. That's why he always carries a reliable pen, flashlight and knife as they are called upon constantly in the line of duty.
Favorite EDC Tool:
Abner's favorite tool is his pen because it gets the most use on a daily basis. He also enjoys what he calls his 'pocket jewelry'. They give him something to fiddle with and help him relax when he's in an intense observation/analysis mode.
Finally, Abner also stresses the importance of a good multitool because it has helped him fix and troubleshoot critical medical equipment several times. He believes that a multitool is a must for any medical work worth his salt, and we couldn't agree with him more!
