We use the highest quality materials with premium configurations for the perfect fit & finish. Our goal is to make unobtainable, grail knives at a fraction of the price you'd pay for a custom knife.
FOUNDER
Yong-Soo Chung is a bootstrapped serial entrepreneur. He founded URBAN EDC® in 2015 from his tiny one bedroom apartment in San Francisco after leaving his software engineering job at Ripple, a cryptocurrency blockchain startup in Silicon Valley. He launched GrowthJet in 2019, a Climate Neutral Certified third-party logistics company, partnering with fast-growing DTC consumer brands. GrowthJet sold to a strategic buyer in February 2024.
He and his wife Sandy are proud dog parents to two French bulldogs named Humphrey & Pota, who have over 150,000 followers across all social channels. Sandy, his business and life partner, also owns a dog boutique called Spotted By Humphrey.
