I wanted to give you a peek behind the curtain. So I figured I would tell you what has been in my pockets the last week or so.
Reylight LAN – Titanium – I like the smaller profile of a AA flashlight. It fits a bit better in the pocket, and still has a great output. Not to mention, I picked up the Machined Nichia version which comes with a battery and charger. It was ready to go right out of the box, and I love it. I can’t wait to outfit it with trits down the line.
MIG +61 Pen – Tumbled – A solid pen is a must in any carry. As a bit of a germ nut, I hate using other people’s pens, from signing a check at a restaurant, to filling out forms at the DMV, I just prefer to use my own pen. What’s cool about the MIG is the weight. I like that it is stainless and you can actually feel the weight of it. Also, the bolt action mechanism is great for fidgeting.
Vitesse ROCKIT – I am typically just bumming around at the local coffee shop or working from my home office. As such, the majority of the time I don’t require a heavy cutter, but something that can be a bit more precise and unassuming. Enter the Vitesse ROCKIT. This solid piece of M390 is beautifully designed. It has a ruler built into the handle, which is awesome for taking quick measurements while I work on new product and can do the “heavy lifting” of breaking down a shipping box, and the precise work of cutting out stencils.
Orijin Thinking Egg – Lava – I am one for fidgets and thinking toys. I love the asymmetrical shape of the thinking egg. Also, the Lava has a great texture to it. I rarely take it off my desk. It has become a staple for when I transition between tasks, helping me get grounded before diving into the next!
Also pictured are the Alliance Designs Efros Ice Lite, which I have been carrying a lot recently. I like the fidget factor of the dual thumb-studs and the extra slicey blade. The Mr. Happy is always on my desk as I am proud of bringing that project to life as a collaboration between Eric Luther and Urban EDC Supply. It is a reminder of the great things we can do when we work together!
