The smaller brother of the larger F05L, the LRF05S features a 2.62", satin-finish, hand-rubbed, D2 blade with a non-locking friction folder style opening. Another significant difference is that the LRF05S comes with a nifty pocket clip, which is uncommon on a Kansei Matsuno knife.

The ergonomically contoured handle is made from Acacia wood, which is a durable hardwood that can withstand the elements and is commonly-used in boat-making, while the full stainless steel liners add strength and structure.
