A special collaboration between Kizer Cutlery and custom knife-maker, Chris Conaway the Kizer Conaway Mini Sheepdog is the much-awaited production version of the custom C01C Cleaver from Sheepdog Knives.
As expected from Kizer Cutlery – who has collaborated with the best knife-makers of our generation – the fit, finish and feel on the Mini Sheepdog is second to none. From the S35VN sheepsfoot blade that allows for amazing versatility to the bearing pivot system that lets the blade rocket out with authority, every single component and detail is tuned to perfection.
Using high-tech wire EDM machines to cut the parts (a much slower but more precise process), the full titanium handle is meticulously contoured for a full and comfortable grip, while the milled slots help with weight reduction. Other less obvious but equally important details include the custom pivot and collar, lock bar over-travel prevention mechanism and replaceable steel insert demonstrate Kizer's commitment to enduring quality.
