From just outside Boston, we shoot the breeze with Riccardo (@edc_knife_collection) who is a first generation Italian American. Riccardo's father was a machinist, so he grew up knowing the importance and value of tools. Read on for the full rig rundown, and find out what's Riccardo favorite tool in his stylish arsenal.
Featured Tools:
- Knife: Urban EDC F5.5
My carry is a blacked out 5.5 fitted with the 5.5 Lynch clip. I have a full collection of 5.5s but this one has been in my pocket for weeks. The 5.5 in general is a favorite. It has incredibly smooth action, a big belly, great edge geometry and 100% reliable.
- Utility tool: Combat Beads x JW Knives Driver
I'm always fidgeting with knives. usually carry one with me.
- Fidget tool: GiantMouse
For fidgeting and bottle opening I am carrying a GiantMouse Morbid mini and old school magnetized rocks.
- Pen: Tactile Turn
Last but not least a Tactile Turn Copper Bolt action pen. I never leave home without a solid pen.
What's your story:
I'm a first generation Italian American that lives outside Boston. My father was a machinist and model maker for 40 years, and my brother is a jack of all trades. So I grew up always having a knife, and realizing early on the importance of EDC tools.
I'm also a HUGE fan of @giantmouse and anything Jesper Voxnaes, Jens Anso or Jon Sorensen. Last but not least, I've fallen in love with photography of knives.
Favorite EDC Tool:
Definitely the Urban EDC 5.5 because it has incredibly smooth action, a big belly, great edge geometry and 100% reliable.
What's On Your Gear Radar:
I'm currently looking for a solid flashlight and a pocket caddy but not sure which I'm going to go with as of yet. No question that you guys always have a great selection.
