There are two types of memberships, named after Japanese mythical water creatures. The Kappa character is our lower tier – a fledgling here onboard the Yamato Club, but fierce and harmful when not respected. Kappas are green, human-like water demons with webbed hands and feet and turtle-like carapaces on their backs. They are mischievous and love to engage in sumo-wrestling. Their favorite food is cucumbers, which is why the 'Kappa-maki Roll' includes cucumbers.

Want to show your real commitment to gear? Then, Wani is your character. Wani is considered a powerful and fearsome creature, a sea dragon, who controls the tides and rules the ocean. Wani membership ensures you Early Access to both our weekly Gear Drops and Yamato Gift Shop Drops, which are always highly anticipated. Wani membership also comes with a $99 Gift Card each month (never expires!) making your membership essentially 'free', as long as you love EDC gear.
