Showcase #57: Gas Measurement and Regulation Technician from Massillon, Ohio

This week for our community feature, we have Matt (@mscheetz75) from Massillon, Ohio. Matt works as a gas measurement and regulation technician and enjoys the outdoors, riding his Harley and photography. Read on to learn all about Matt's carefully curated everyday carry!

Featured Tools:

• Knife: Case/Bose Trapper
  This knife is a 2013 collaboration between Case Cutlery and Tony Bose. It features peach seed jigged chestnut bone handles, along with a 154CM Wharncliffe blade. This knife is really special because it's designed by one of my favorite knife makers. Tony Bose and the Trapper pattern are both absolute classics. And Case does a wonderful job on fit and finish too. 
   
• Light: Prometheus lights Beta-QRv2
  Jason Hui does a fantastic job with this light. Just the right size to disappear into your pocket, and bright enough to cover any everyday task. Small, bright, durable and beautiful - it's awesome.

• Wallet: TwoFinger Design
  This is a minimalist front pocket carry card holder. It's a wallet that carries everything I need - cards and cash - without any excess bulk or weight.
  
  
• Pen: Hinderer Titanium Investigator
  If you're into minimalist things like I am, then this is the perfect pen. It never leaves my pocket. It's another small EDC item that I use every single day.
  
  
• Keychain: Handgrey, Zach Wood, Victorinox
  Handgrey H1 carabiner is a gem. It lets me easily remove keys or items. I swap out my work and personal truck keys daily with ease.
  
  The Zach Wood Cyclop pry bar is another favorite. Small, lightweight and discreet little pry bar for those little jobs, and disappears on your key chain.
  
  Finally, there's the Victorinox Classic. It's called classic for a reason. Scissors, knife and file make up this tiny but useful item. 

Background:

EDCforums.com was my first step into the EDC world, I then found Atwood Toolbook on Facebook and it was all downhill from there. EDC is a really slippery slope. I'm most active now in a group I started with some friends on Facebook called Slipjoint Paradigm. We also just recently started a Case/Bose Collectors group. It's the community that really makes the hobby interesting and engaging.

I love spending time with my family, heading outdoors and photography. One of my greatest pleasures is riding my Harley even though I don't get to do it a lot nowadays. Other passions of mine include fishing and hunting.

And I'm what you'd call a sports fanatic - Indians Buckeyes Cavaliers Browns for the win!

Favorite EDC Tool:

Any of my Case/Bose knives would be my favorite carry and most used tools. There's simply no surpassing a classic knife designed with modern materials. You get the best of both worlds!
