We made it to Friday! This lightweight, classy carry definitely made my week a little better. Read on to learn more!
MKM Burnley Cellina - I haven't carried a slipjoint in some time and wanted to give one a shot! Of course, I had to go with the bronze one. The Cellina is a slim slipjoint with a pointy M390 blade. I like the thumbhole that gives you grip to open and close it. Overall, I loved carrying this while not in the office. It is unassuming yet still gets the job done!
Tactile Turn Bolt Action Pencil – In the spirit of a classier, older-style carry I went with the Tactile Turn Bolt Action Pencil. I can't remember the last time I wrote with a pencil, and man was it a great throwback experience! The slight scratch of the lead on the paper is rewarding, and I do love being able to erase and re-write. Sometimes my spelling is atrocious!
Carpe Diem Tempus Fugit Curio - I have long admired these worry coins put out by Carpe Diem EDC. I love supporting my friends, and Jim Wirth, founder of Carpe Diem EDC, is one of the most down to earth people you will meet. This bronze curio is the perfect reminder to live each day to the fullest.
Muyshondt Maus - Don't get me wrong, I love a good 18350 light, but I was trying to go for that low-key classic look this week, so I reached for an old reliable, the Muyshondt Maus. This small titanium light is just around 2" and puts out up to 60 lumens. That is the perfect amount of light for finding my keys, or my phone when I drop it in between the car seat and console (why does that happen so often?).
Until next time,
Shawne
