Handcrafted in Japan by master craftsmen and fashioned individually from solid metal stock to 0.001” tolerances (you read that right), this Douglass Field S+ Lighter gives ‘fanatical’ a whole new meaning. This is a true labor of love, and it shows. 

The difference the Douglass Field S+ Lighter brings over the regular S model is the duralumin construction, which is incredibly lightweight and strong. In tangible terms, the Douglass Field S+ Lighter is now 41g, compared to the 70g of the regular S model – making it a literal breeze to carry anywhere and everywhere. 

Built for everyday performance, the Douglass Field S+ Lighter features a watertight o-ring sealed screw-in lock mechanism, which completely seals up the ignition and the flint wheel making it waterproof. It’s designed to be used even when it is slightly wet.

Additionally, there is a hidden threaded cap at the base of the tank with a small storage capacity for emergency reserve fuel. The cap is sealed with yet another cap that unscrews to reveal a spare flint rod.
