This week on our community showcase, we talk to Thanat (@glofindel) who was originally from Thailand, and now runs his own business in Australia. Thanat was first drawn to EDC by way of MacGyver (as many of us were) when he was a child. Read on for the full rig rundown of Thanat’s sleek, stylish and superbly functional everyday carry.

I always carry a Swiss Army Knife and own over 200 SAKs. This tool setup and size on this SAK suits me really well. It’s really hard to get on Bob’s book and it's even harder to get him to build an 84mm SAK, so I’m very pleased and proud of this piece. His work is outstanding so this is the only one I would keep in my entire collection. - Flashlight 01: Tain Azco

This is one of my oldest EDC items, which has been on my keychain for over 4 years. Love the design, the solid titanium built and the functionality behind it.
Background:
My name is Thanat and I was born and raised in Thailand but moved to Australia 16 years ago. Now I own a small business.
In my downtime, I enjoy watching movies and putting together plastic models (Gunpla). I was working as a manager at a movie shop for 7 years and really enjoy watching all kind of films. Also, I have quite a bit of Gunpla collection. However, due to the business and my young child, downtime is scarce and has almost disappeared.
My EDC world started when I was 13 years old. Back then I only had a Swiss Army Knife and a AAA Maglite. I saw my older cousin carrying an Alox SAK and at that time MacGyver was on TV. Seeing him perform tasks and fixing things with it really fascinated me. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Favorite EDC Tool:
Custom Ti SAK from Bob Lessard. It looks great and it's a good all-around tool. It does everything I need and more.
