Welcome to the Urban EDC Showcase! Each week, we feature one member of the EDC community and the gear they rely on every day. Want to be featured? Submit your gear photo.
This week we have with us a classic American hero in Pete (@electric_freak), who is a licensed electrical contractor. Along with his two sons and wife, Pete runs a small family-owned business, and aside from collecting nice blades, he also enjoys working on his Harley choppers and hot rods. Read on to learn all about Pete’s story and everyday carry!
Featured Tools:
- Knife: Dalibor Bergam Knives Draco
This is an integral frame lock with a 3.5" satin blade crafted by Dalibor Bergam to which I added a Timascus pocket clip. Every aspect of this Draco knife is fantastic and doesn't disappoint.
- Flashlight: Barrel Flashlight Co. M2JN
This my polished titanium Barrel flashlight, which I also modified by adding a Steel Flame Crusader Cross Pocket Clip. The Barrel Flashlight is special because it’s made to the highest standards in the USA, and is mighty bright for something this small and handy.
- Utility Tool: Rexford R.U.T. with Damascus Blade
I got this from you guys at Urban EDC Supply. I really like the size of this, and the Damascus blade really sets it apart. Also made right here in the USA.
- Utility Knife: Veleno Designs Silet Ti
I got this Veleno Designs Silet Ti razor with the Maze pattern, which is both interesting visually and helps with the texture and grip. It serves as a small backup blade to the Dalibor Bergam Draco.
Background:
My name is Pete Scrocca I’m from Buford, Georgia. I work as a licensed electrical contractor, and I own a small family owned electrical company with my two sons and my wife.
I’ve always been into nice blades since I was young, and have always been collecting them for years and years. In fact, I’ve been into EDC gear before it was cool and popular.
In my free time, I like working on Harley Davidson choppers and I working on old hot rods. I’ve had a '68 Camaro for 35 years, and it’s my pride and joy. I also play the drums, and still, am learning the guitar.
Favorite EDC Tool:
My favorite EDC tool is a toss-up between the Barrel Flashlight and Dalibor Bergam Knives Draco. I'll go with the Draco simply because it's just so well-made and beautiful.

I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting items, however at the moment I'm very satisfied with my carry.
