- Pocket Knife: GEC #21
This is the Farm & Field Bullnose from GEC. To me, this is the perfect pocket knife. Been using a Case Sodbuster for a while and got really interested in this similar type of knife. Once I got the Bullnose in my hands, I instantly knew that it was the perfect match. -
Fixed Blade: Böker Vox Nippon
I just started using a fixed blade as EDC and this one has a good size for me. Small but sturdy once you start to use it. I don't use it as a necker and I’m planning to get a leather sheath for it. I’m definitely not a fan of Kydex. -
Flashlight: Olight S1
This is the S1 Baton in solid copper. I have other flashlights that maybe are a bit more good looking, but the quality on this is straight off the charts. I’ve been thrashing this little guy in water, snow and mud - it just keeps working flawlessly.
- Pen: Fisher Space Pen
I use a lot of different pens on a daily basis since I do a lot of sketching and drawing. But in the pocket, I usually end up with the Fisher Space Pen. Good price, compact and a no-nonsense type of pen.
- Pry Bar: Jan Swede Pry Bar
This little titanium pry bar goes with me everywhere. From scraping and slicing gaffers tape to peeling oranges. Maybe even open a beer or two.
Background:
I have always been carrying a pocket knife and pen, and never really thought about it until a year ago when I stumbled upon the EDC community through Instagram.
My work is also my hobby, so it’s a great outlet for exercising my creativity with photography and drawing. My free time is all about my two sons. Spending time with them, going on mini adventures like a walk in the woods and playing hockey. These are the things that really matter.
Favorite EDC Tool:
The Bullnose is a firm favorite. It’s the only knife that has really managed to compete with my SAK Pioneer for pocket time. The quality, along with the simple and slick design is just perfect.
