What's in your carry?
- Knife: Fox Knives Libar
Gorgeous green micarta and a robust clip point design make it a very good looking yet functional blade. I love the stiff slip joint, a must for me as locking blades are illegal to carry in the UK. - Flashlight: Olight i3t EOS
Small package, powerful little light. The reverse pocket clip makes it great. I've used this as headtorch on my baseball cap when I've been caught in the dark a few times. The 2 brightness modes make it really versatile.
- Wallet: Herschel Supply Co. Raven
Black leather RFID Version with integral money clip. Simple yet sexy.
- Keychain: Mont Blanc
Every carry needs a classy way to carry your keys and it doesn't get much classier than a Mont Blanc.
- Dice: Solid stainless steel
In truth, a Christmas cracker toy that has made some decisions for me. Sometimes you just have to roll the dice. A must-have.
What's your story?
About me. A serving member of the British army, I've spent the last 16 years traveling the globe. I've been unwittingly an EDC guy for most of that time, collecting bits and pieces along the way.
It wasn't until a friend of mine showed me his EDC account on Instagram that I realized I'd been doing it subconsciously and my need to carry a load of crap as my wife called it now had a name!
In my spare time, I'm a landscape photographer and dabble in basic bushcraft. Having a lot of useful stuff comes in handy.
Favorite EDC Tool?
My favorite item in my pocket at the moment has to be my Fox Libar. I find myself constantly using it. Although my ISAF edition Zippo has been with me for 10 years and it's still never missed a beat. A real tank.
What's On Your Gear Radar?
Next on the radar is a Benchmade Proper. Another slip joint in green micarta so a good match for my Libar and again, another UK legal carry.
