The embodiment of relentlessness, Wesley (@urban_asian_edc) from sunny Singapore shows us his stunning Seigaihai #writesliceprylight in its full and uncompromising glory. From collecting the Urban EDC exclusives to hunting down an elusive Seigaiha fountain pen, Wesley is riding high on the waves.
Featured Tools:
- Knife: UES exclusive Spyderco Techno 2 Seigaiha
So this is my #seigaiha series that started with the UES exclusive Spyderco Techno 2. I did not get it at the first drop and waited for 2-3 more drops. I have been a fan of the Techno 1 I own (I am a Spyderco collector among other makers) and figured I wanted something special for Techno 2.
- Pry tool: UES exclusive Lynch Northwest All Access Pass
I would have spared no expense on the Zach Wood Seigaiha 5" Pop N' Pry, but that was long sold out. But luckily Lynch Northwest came along with its All Access Pass for UES and I knew I had to have it.
- Pen: Pilot FD-3MP-SGH Maki-e 14K-585
Once I set myself on this Seigaiha quest, I figured the Japanese symbol must exist on a (fountain) pen. So I set out on my research and found the The Pilot FD-3MP-SGH Maki-e 14K-585 fountain pen came along. This was not easy at first, seeing that these were also limited editions that launched years ago. I got lucky as I found one locally and he was a careful owner.
- Flashlight: Reylight Pineapple Mini Ti
At this point I was happy enough but my flashlights all were short and stout like the Techno and I wanted a slimmer profile for carry in my Miguel Andre carry goods pocket. The Reylight Pineapple Mini Ti came along and unless UES manages something with Seigaiha, it should be staying in the set.
- Lighter: Custom Zippo
Last, but hopefully not least, I came across on Zazzle, some artist that makes a Seigaiha motif with your choice of letters for a Zippo lighter, and that completes the set currently.
My story:
My name's Wesley and I'm based in Singapore, born and bred. I work as an educator. I first got into EDC through going on camping trips in school as a kid. That's when it all started with Swiss Army Knives and the like. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, collecting watches, obsessing over EDC and cycling.
Favorite EDC Tool:
I love them all as a set.
What's On Your Gear Radar:
Will definitely be eyeing anything Seigaiha-related on Urban EDC Supply!
