Feminine but not girly. Quality over quantity. That's the ethos behind Victoria's (@sh_e.d.c) carry. A musician and photographer from Orange County, California, Victoria first got into EDC after gifting her friend with a blacked out ZT, and that led to her first Spyderco Para 3 – and as they say, the rest is history. - Folder: Arcane Design Co. Crawler
This is my Arcane Design Co. Crawler, designed by Israel Bacchus. This lovely configuration features stonewashed titanium and damasteel. It’s one of my favorite production knives and has awesome action. I think it’s such a unique design and can’t wait to see what designs Israel does in the future.
- Pen: Brian Fellhoelter TiBolt in fluted titanium
I probably have eight amazing EDC pens, but this is my favorite. I love the simplicity and the fluted design.
- Fixed blade: Scorpion 6 Knives
This is a full custom Ringed Rikr dagger from Scorpion 6 Knives. It is the last of this particular design that Scorpion 6 made and they called it the ultimate unicorn.
It features 01 sword steel quenched and tempered to 60 HRC final hardness. The titanium scales are finished with their acid rain finish with muted hardware to match the blade perfectly.
It came fitted with a Boltaron sheath which carries super thin and will clip securely to practically anything including leggings, even without a belt. I will tell you right now that even though all the items here are favorites of mine, this is my pick for favorite item because of the hand workmanship by this husband and wife, combat veteran team. They crushed it.
- Vamp: Maulini Mob EDC full-sized skelly vamp
This little vamp fits comfortably in hand as a small impact tool, bottle opener, key chain, and all-around companion. As all Maulini Mob pieces are made by hand, each is a unique and detailed piece of metal art. He makes them in a wide variety of materials.
This particular one is all titanium and the core is etched on both sides in a detailed skulls and roses motif. The quality and craftsmanship are amazing. There is another small Maulini Mob pendant on my charm bracelet.
My story:
I love color in my EDC, and it’s easy to see that in my photos, but most of the color doesn’t come from my knives or tools. I usually accessorize with pops of color, and my custom hank from MCMD Hankery is a perfect example of that.
Something that always appeals to me when it comes to selecting EDC items, is uniqueness. I have only been in EDC for a year, and I discovered Urban EDC Supply very early on.
I care about blade steel. Love me some Elmax. But my favorite items are handmade, small batch or one of a kind, or customized to my taste. I want people to be able to look at my photos or my gear, and immediately know who it belongs to. I like a feminine aesthetic, but not girly. And always quality over quantity.
I got into EDC when I was trying to select the perfect gift for a friend. I decided to buy a knife but when I went to decide on what knife, I found this whole world of everyday carry and started watching Blade HQ videos over lunch and learning about blade steel and grinds and scale materials and I was hooked.
I bought him a Zero Tolerance 0450 carbon fiber, all blacked out. About a month went by, and I decided that if he got a nice knife, I deserved to have one too. I bought a plain jane Spyderco Para 3 and… let’s just say that escalated quickly.
I live in Orange County, California and I’m a musician and photographer. I am very entrepreneurial and I’m currently in the process of setting up a knife modding business with someone who has the equipment and expertise to do almost anything with knives. So I guess I’m here to stay.
I love to travel, and I like hiking around and finding great photo spots. I love video gaming, music, reading, and last year I made a thousand loaves of bread to sell and donate for people quarantined due to covid.

My favorite piece of the featured carry is the custom dagger made by Scorpion 6. I love that it’s family made in the US.
What's on my gear radar:
As far as EDC items that I have my eye on, I am looking forward to a new knife made by Scorpion 6 knives called the LR-1, designed particularly with ladies in mind (worth checking out!). Someday I want a transient from HMC Knives. And I love working with KC Gray knives. He makes beautiful things and always seems to know what I would like. So many knives, so little time :)
